Kitch’n Tip(s): How to Freeze Avocados

Kitch'n Tip(s) Freezing Avocados

Avocados are one of my most favorite things to eat, but we all know that they don’t last very long in the refrigerator. I’ve got a really cool kitch’n tip for you: You can freeze avocados and store them for up to 5 months! It’s really easy. Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Pit and Peel your avocados

Step 2: Toss into a food processor along with 1 tablespoon of lemon or lime juice per avocado.

Step 3: Puree until smooth. This ensures that the lemon/lime juice is evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

Step 4: Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 5 months.

Now you can enjoy avocados whenever you want!

    • I recommend leaving the frozen avocados in the refrigerator for a few hours before using. Hope that helps!
